Weekend pics...

So I'm sitting back in my cozy home this morning after spending a few precious (and fairly busy) days with my family in my hometown of Houston. 

 

We were celebrating my Mum's 60th birthday. We first enjoyed a 9-hole golf tournament. I am a terrible golfer... I never play so I can never work on getting better! But it was good fun with great people...

 

 

(My hunny is the one in the middle at the back holding up the wooden spoon, his trophy for coming in last place!)

We met the following night for dinner - here is a pic of me, the birthday girl, and my hunny before we tucked in to dinner...

I'm still sifting through all the photos that were taken this weekend. But my favorite one so far? This sweet picture of my parents...

 

It was lovely to be surrounded by the familiarities of my hometown, and I relished in the ability to spend so much precious time with my family for a few days. But there is nothing like coming back home and waking up in your own bed.

Now... we're out of milk... so I'm heading out for a quick coffee hunt!
