I got these pictures the other day and have been meaning to share them with you guys.
I made this large custom piece a little over a year ago for some friends who were expecting their first child.
Fans of Amelia Earhart, they helped to come up with the design - we even decided to include the pattern of the baby's bedding into the piece!
The detail on each little plaid quilt-square was painted by hand - and I included little stitch marks on the piece to make it really come to life.
It turned out really cute!

So cute! And, the "A" looks a lot like the ALABAMA "A"! I think I rubbed off on you at some point!

I didn't even notice that until you commented! How funny... One day I'll know when football season starts & ends and how they figure out which team plays in which bowl game... and maybe even how many points are awarded for a field goal. And when I do... I'll say I learned it all from you! :)
