We came. We golfed. We gambled.
Actually, golf was horrible. The weather was great, the course was beautiful, but the actual golfing? Horrendous... borderline embarrassing, to be honest.
My mum is an avid golfer... but my sisters and I don't have much experience between the three of us. So it was pretty much hit or miss the whole game... and more "miss" than "hit" 90% of the time! But we had fun nonetheless...
We had a good time gambling - some of us even had some nice wins! Nothing big enough to retire on - but definitely a nice little chunk of change to cover gas money, food, etc.!
Overall, a great trip back home... short & sweet.
So so SO glad to be in my own house again though... and even happier to be counting the days until my hunny returns from Afghanistan. Goodness, I love that man...
Oh... apparently Riley made some fans while I was away - he was wearing a little bandana when I picked him up... can you say adorable?
